Before you pay

After checkout, the intake form asks for your CV and details. Have these ready:

  • Your current CV, as PDF, DOC or DOCX.
  • The role, grade or career direction you are targeting.
  • The main concern with your current CV, and anything you do not want changed.
  • Any audit, QI, teaching, leadership or research you want emphasised, and any gaps to explain.

The usual turnaround is 3 to 5 working days after payment and complete documents. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays. If you have a sooner deadline, contact us before paying.

Where a revision is included, request it within seven calendar days of delivery and send the changes together. A new target role or document set may need a separate quote.

Why generic CVs fail in medicine

A medical CV is not just a list of jobs.

A medical CV, or curriculum vitae, needs to make your training, clinical experience and achievements easy for an NHS shortlister to understand. Generic CV advice can miss details that matter in clinical recruitment. A strong medical CV needs a clear clinical timeline, accurate registration details, properly presented training, evidence of audit and improvement work, credible teaching and leadership, and wording that remains professionally honest.

Chronology matters

NHS and medical employers expect your employment, training and clinical history to make sense. Unclear gaps or inconsistent dates can distract from the application.

Clinical evidence matters

Audit, QI, teaching and leadership should not be buried in vague bullet points. They need structure, context and outcomes where you can honestly evidence them.

Probity matters

The aim is not to inflate your experience. The aim is to present the truth clearly, professionally and in a format recruiters can use.

FAQ

Before you book

Who reviews my CV?

Your CV is prepared by a UK-based medical CV editor who is familiar with NHS applications. Our review approach is informed by input from practising NHS clinicians, so it reflects what medical recruiters look for. To be clear, this does not mean a named clinician personally writes or signs off each individual CV.

Can you write my CV if I am an International Medical Graduate (IMG)?

Yes. The service can help present overseas clinical experience in a clearer UK-facing format, provided the information you supply is accurate.

Can you help with health-tech or pharma applications?

Yes. Clinical-to-corporate rewrites focus on translating clinical work into language suitable for health-tech, pharma, medical affairs, clinical operations and related roles.

Does a CV replace my NHS application form?

No. A standalone CV does not replace a required Trac or NHS Jobs application. For the supporting information section, see NHS and Trac application support.

Do you guarantee interviews?

No. A better CV can reduce avoidable weaknesses, but no CV service can guarantee an interview, job offer or application outcome.
