You can use the evidence bank to prepare later applications yourself, or ask us to edit one for £49, tailored to its own vacancy and person specification. You provide the facts and examples; we will not invent evidence.
The usual turnaround is 3 to 5 working days after complete documents are received and the vacancy is accepted. For a sooner closing date, email us before paying. A service we cannot accept is refunded in full, and a Further Application Edit is only invoiced once we accept the vacancy. See the timing and eligibility terms.

You are not expected to pay us for every application.

An evidence bank you keep
It comes with the £149 Supporting Information Edit, not the £79 review. It sets out your strongest examples under common NHS criteria, with wording you can reuse, what each example can safely claim and how to adapt it for another vacancy. It is built only from the information you give us. It does not verify your qualifications, registration or experience, it is not careers advice about which posts to apply for, and it does not guarantee shortlisting or an interview.

For a vacancy we edited, send us the rejection within 30 days and we will tell you, in a short written note, what most likely held it back. We cannot see the employer's scoring, and no service can guarantee an interview.
Why this goes wrong
A strong CV still needs clear supporting information.
Locally recruited NHS posts, including specialty doctor, locally employed doctor, trust-grade, clinical fellow and locum roles, are usually advertised through NHS Jobs or Trac, and shortlisters score what you write against the person specification. We review or edit your supporting information (sometimes called a personal statement) for one specific vacancy, so the evidence for each criterion is easy to find and true to what you have done. Foundation and national specialty training recruitment run through Oriel and work differently, so ask us first if that is what you are applying for.
Shortlisters work through the essential and desirable criteria and look for evidence of each one. If your examples are vague, or buried in long paragraphs, they are easy to miss. This can weaken an application even when the candidate has relevant experience.
A standalone CV does not replace a required Trac application. We review or edit your supporting information against the vacancy's person specification. Criteria coverage
Are the essential criteria all addressed, plus the desirable ones you can honestly claim? We map your draft against the person specification and show you what is missing. Our supporting information guide explains how to organise that evidence.
Evidence
Each claim needs a specific example from your own experience. "Good team player" provides little evidence on its own. Describe a situation where you worked effectively with others.
Structure and accuracy
A shortlister should be able to follow your evidence quickly, without repetition, and every statement must stay accurate and professional.
Clear boundaries
We improve your evidence. We do not invent it.
We can reorganise and reword what you have actually done so it is easier to score. We cannot add clinical duties, achievements, qualifications or examples that did not happen, and we will decline work that asks for that.

This is optional. Use it if you would like us to tailor a later application, rather than adapting your evidence bank yourself.
1. Send the vacancy
Use the intake form, choose Further Application Edit and enter your original order reference. Add the new draft, job description, person specification, advert link, closing date and word limit.
2. We check, then invoice
We confirm eligibility, scope and the closing date. If we can take it on, we email you a £49 Stripe invoice. If we cannot, nothing is charged.
3. Edit and deliver
Usually 3 to 5 working days after payment, with a fresh criteria map and one revision requested within seven days.

Is this only for Trac?
No. We review medical applications submitted through Trac, NHS Jobs or an employer's own system. Whatever the platform, we need the job description and the person specification.
Will this guarantee an interview?
No. We can improve how your evidence is presented and how closely it matches the criteria, but the decision depends on the employer, your underlying experience and the other applicants.
Can you write the whole application for me?
No. The Supporting Information Edit and Further Application Edits edit drafts you have written, using your own accurate examples. If you only have rough notes, contact us before purchase so we can confirm the scope and quote if needed.
What happens if I am not shortlisted?
For a vacancy we edited, send us the rejection within 30 days and we will send a short written note on the likely reasons, free. We cannot see the employer's scoring, and no service can guarantee an interview.
Are you part of Trac or the NHS?
No. Doctor CV Clinic is an independent editing service. It is not affiliated with Trac, NHS Jobs, the NHS, the GMC or any employer.
Closing date in the next few days?
NHS adverts can close early if they receive a lot of applications, so an advert may close before its stated closing date. Email us before paying and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it. After checkout, the intake form asks for your documents and vacancy details. If you would like us to edit a later application, use the intake form with your original order reference; we invoice £49 only once we accept the vacancy.
